Squares- WALA: Addition and subtraction with numbers to 1000 alongside learning about time and reading/drawing clocks. Next Step: To use a range of strategies to solve addition and subtraction problems.

In swimming I am in the dolphins group. When I jump in the pool it feels like the deep scary ocean.when you swim you feel like a zooming dolphin in a river.The people in the pool look like fish playing together. Something I did well was I did well in freestyle. I am working on backstroke.

On Wednesday the whole class went to the Waka.the class and the parents drove down to the river happily. There was a bit of talking about safety and putting on life jackets.Then we went on the waka.The waka can have up to fourth people on it. On the waka it we used paddles to start the waka.It was wobbly on the waka and low tide.I felt excited and fun.

In writing we are learning to write recounts.  

Something I did well was using  W details in my opening.

Something I need to work on is finishing my recount with a sentence about how I felt.
