Spelling Term 3

I am in the experts group because I have finished the essential spelling list 7.

We have been learning about homonyms, synonyms and apostrophes in different stages of the year.

Spring poem

Something I did well was putting in good ideas.

Something I could improve on using better vocabulary.

Cross country

On September the 6th the school had cross-country. The middle school and the senior school walked down to Farndon Park. I was in the 8yr girls race. First it was the 8 year old girls  turn with    

warm ups. Then we went to the starting line. Mr Basset said "READY STEADY GO" Cerys was in the lead. Then Mille got in the lead.  We ran around the four rugby posts and around the tennis court to the finish line.When my run finished I felt tired and sweaty. After that I watched  the 8yr old boys, Tye  came first. After that it was the nine year old girls turn. My friend Coral did not make it all the way but she tried her best. After the nine year old girls turn, it was the nine year old boys turn. After the ten and eleven year old boys and girls raced. Everybody went back into their groups. Then each group got let go to follow Ms Petherick back to school. I was proud I came 7th.
